Abingdon Marathon October 22nd 2006
OUPAAC members Liz Thompson and Steph Strachan both completed this year's Abingdon Marathon on Sunday 22nd October. Many thanks to Rob, Richard, Don, Jan, Vic, Jon, John and Graham for turning out to cheer them on. The full results are online here. Results (and photos) will also be appearing in the Oxford Mail. Well done guys. It was a good race & I'm glad the rain held off until the end.
I crossed the line just before Liz at 04:01:03 & ws glad to have a sit down after my first ever marathon.
